How we work

Support for exporting to Brazil

AC&E do Brasil provides all technical and legal specifications for exporting industrial machinery and equipment to Brazil , making sure they are in compliance with the local legislation.

01

NR 10 Compliance Verification

We assess electrical installations and work practices for compliance with Brazil's NR-10 standard.
The assessment includes verification of technical documentation, protective measures, electrical equipment, personnel qualifications, and safety procedures.
A detailed report identifies non-conformities and provides recommendations for achieving and maintaining compliance.

02

NR 12 mechanical requirements analysis

We assess machinery and equipment for compliance with Brazil's NR-12 standard.
The assessment includes verification of machine guarding, safety devices, control systems, emergency stops, technical documentation, and operating procedures. A detailed report identifies non-conformities and provides recommendations for achieving and maintaining compliance.

03

Pre-shipment machine inspection

We offer pre-shipment inspections in Europe and China, the inspection can either be used to ensure compliance with the standards or, when applicable, the Laudo and A.R.T. might be issued after this first inspection.

04

On-site final installation inspection

Our engineers from San Paulo travel anywhere in Brazil to inspect the machinery. If a machine could not be pre-inspected at the manufacturer’s site, the inspection is mandatory in order to issue the Laudo and A.R.T.

05

Laudo de Validação

The Laudo de Validação (Technical Validation Report) is the formal engineering report issued following the on-site inspection and technical assessment of the machinery or industrial installation. It documents the verification activities performed, the applicable Brazilian regulations and technical standards, the compliance status of the equipment, any identified non-conformities, and the corrective actions required prior to commissioning.

The Laudo serves as the technical evidence supporting the conformity assessment and, together with the ART, forms the official engineering documentation required for the validation and safe commissioning of machinery and industrial installations in Brazil.

06

ART certificate issuance

The ART (Anotação de Responsabilidade Técnica) is the official engineering responsibility registration issued by the Brazilian Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA). It legally identifies the licensed Professional Engineer responsible for the engineering services performed and establishes professional accountability before the Brazilian authorities.
